Is the End Upon Us?

Due
to the recent sad unfortunate events of the Tsunami devastations I have decided
to post this article. I am here to express my opinion and perhaps some concerns
that you the reader may have due to the current events.
I am speaking to you as
a curious member of humanity.
I would like for you to take a moment, 
to stop and think about the world.
Have you ever wonder why is it that the world is full of evil and terrible
catastrophic things are happening to the earth? When you have a 100 feet tsunami
wiping out 214,000 + people in one setting, one should start to wonder in what
direction is the world headed? Is the end of the
world upon us? We have many
different conflicting ideologies that try to prove their superiority to each
other by destroying and taking innocent lives. It is proven that through out
history more people have died in the name of god than any other reason. With the
knowledge that I have of the bible I would like to share some scriptures that
the book of revelations has. I am not here to preach to anyone, just consider
this as a resource and my opinions to try to answer some questions. I also have
included additional resources to try to help understand these matters of the end
of the world by different authors.
Like you, I too would like some answers. It is human nature for us to ask questions. Many of these questions are without answers and there is no possible way to come up with one. A common question that plagues the human race is “When will the world end?” For thousands of years, astrologers and psychics have been trying to come up with clues to when it all will end. There is a source, the Bible, which aids humans, specifically Christians, in trying to come up with some answers. Many places in the Bible such as Revelations, Ezekiel, Matthew, Daniel, and I Corinthians all give some clues to how and when the end of the world will come. Here are a couple of bible verses that may help quench some of our curiosities.

from the Second Book of Peter, chapter 3, verses 3-5.
"The sea and the waves roaring"
Luke, chapter 21, verse 25,
Never more than today has there been such an increase in storms,
hurricanes, tornadoes, cyclones,
typhoons etc.
It is confirmed by many
meteorologists that it is a fact things are getting much worse than ever before
and some see it as Global warming cause by man. Global warming is prophesied by
God as will be shown later on. Worst the current Tsunami that took the lives of
thousands of people.

Never
before have there ever been such destructive wars that have killed more and more
people than the 20th and 21st Century. World War 1 and 2 were bad but did you
know that the wars in the 1990's alone equaled the death toll and destruction of
both world wars together. Already at the beginning of the
21st
and final Century we have seen War in Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Iraq
(which is going to flare up
again soon leaving the
majority
of Iraqis dead or fled plus a nuke will be used), and most recent is Liberia and
that’s just off the top of my head. There are many more wars being fought that
are not as often mentioned in the media. And hey, we have the coming attack on
North Korea too which is going to be a world shaking event I feel, possibly
quite literally if nukes are used. Massive increase in number of wars-also
hearing of rumors of wars and possible wars was limited in those days but now
with advent of technology in the name of Television its even more so possible
and from your own house!. Here are some examples of 'rumors of war' in the field
of a 'potential' conflict waiting to happen which will hopefully convince you
mankind is destined to destroy itself just as God told us;

great earthquakes shall be in diverse places"

This
above scripture is very accurate. Again Earthquakes
have been massively
increasing in both frequency and strength of magnitude and in places where
quakes were previously barely heard of and felt. 1997 had a lot but 1998 smashed
it and 1999 smashed that again. It had already been proven by geologists and the
like that indeed there is an alarming increase but I wanted to do my own study
so I knew they were true facts and I am just confirming what they have been
saying all along. We only have to turn on the TV. to see that an increase is
happening.
These are only a few verses from the
bible. I challenge you to try and seek answers for your selves. Whatever you may
believe whether it is in Allah, Jesus, Mohammed, or whatever source of prophecy
one should think about future. There are no guarantees in life, the only
guarantee is death. We are not here on earth forever. One day we too shall go. I
don’t know if you believe in life after death but I do know that as time goes
by the world is becoming a more dangerous place to live in.
